Read the policy before the promise
Homepage delivery badges can omit conditions. Review the full shipping, returns and terms pages for handling windows, carrier estimates, excluded destinations, lost-parcel steps, damaged items and refund timing. Record contradictions rather than choosing the most favourable version.
Distinguish cancellation, return and remedy
These terms address different situations. A policy may restrict ordinary returns while offering a process for damage, non-delivery or incorrect goods. Describe the wording without making a legal conclusion about enforceability.
Check who carries each risk
Look for responsibility for customs decisions, address errors, failed delivery, delayed carriers and temperature exposure. Vague transfers of all responsibility deserve a clarity limitation, but legal fairness must be assessed separately.
Score clarity, not generosity
The comparison evaluates whether material conditions are findable, consistent and understandable. It does not award points simply because a policy appears generous. Record dates because policies can change without notice.
